Доклад Shing-Tung Yau "Period Integrals, Counting Curves and Mirror Symmetry"

21 августа 2012 года на внеочередном семинаре лаборатории алгебраической геометрии с докладом "Period Integrals, Counting Curves and Mirror Symmetry" выступил Shing-Tung Yau (Harvard University, Chinese University of Hong Kong).
Abstract: In the talk, some problems related to period integrals of Calabi-Yau and general type complete intersections will be considered. A new idea for solving these problems, namely tautological systems, will be discussed. Some relations to problems in string theory (Yukawa coupling, counting curves in Calabi-Yau threeefolds, SYZ conjecture and T-duality) will also be considered.
