Applications to Participate in April International Academic Conference Now Open
HSE University is now accepting proposals to present academic reports at the XXVI April International Academic Conference named after Evgeny Yasin. Applications can be submitted until December 16, 2025. The conference events will take place mainly on-site in Moscow from April 14 to 17, 2026.
This year’s programme will once again cover five research areas: Economics; Human Capital and Society; Instrumental Methods and Models; Foresight Research; and International Research.
Events in the conference programme will be held either in Russian or in English. Certain discussion sessions will be conducted in a bilingual format with simultaneous (conference) interpretation provided. The conference will be conducted primarily in a face-to-face format. The Programme Committee of the XXVI April International Academic Conference is chaired by Fuad Aleskerov, Head of the HSE Faculty of Economic Sciences’ Department of Mathematics, Director of the International Centre of Decision Choice and Analysis, and HSE University Tenured Professor.
Last year, the conference brought together 1,384 participants from 29 Russian regions and 24 countries. As is traditional, the call for papers attracted a large number of submissions, with three applicants competing for each presentation slot. Out of 1,035 submissions, 381 passed academic review, and 335 participants ultimately presented their research.

As in previous years, the Competition for Support Grants for Early-Career Researchers from Russian Regions will be held as part of the XXVI April International Academic Conference named after Evgeny Yasin.
The deadline for submitting papers for presentation at the conference is December 16, 2025. Applications to attend the conference may be submitted by Russian citizens until April 2, 2026, and by foreign citizens until March 2, 2026.
