International Advisory Committee (IAC) is a collegial advisory body comprised of prominent international experts that was established to support the development of National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow, Russia (HSE).
The main purpose of HSE International Advisory Committee is to provide management advice about the direction the university should follow and support the HSE's development.
The HSE International Advisory Committee meets once a year, each meeting consisting of two days discussion including a working dinner. There may also be some follow-up questions/discussions by email or videoconference. Because of the nature of the matters to be discussed, we would expect members to consider the information as confidential.
The HSE Rector and HSE top management are invited to participate in the meetings; other experts can be invited if necessary.
The committee's working languages are English and Russian. The meetings are provided with simultaneous translation. Committee proceedings are moderated by the Chairman; administrative support is provided by the IAC Manager.
Committee members are free to express their opinions and suggestions; between annual meetings, consultations and videoconferences can be arranged.
